The Synagogue Shop Hours
Information
 Shop “Kosher” was opened in May 2003. The project was financed by Saint-Petersburg enterpreneur Michail Tverdovsky. “Kosher” is a non-profit-making shop. Any profit made goes to the charity programs run by the Community.
Kosher foodstuffs available at the shop are partly from Israel and partly produced in Russia / Ukraine and approved by local rabbinical courts.
Besides food, the shop provides resources for spiritual nourisment as well. In stock are:
- books on Judaism
- traditional and modern Jewish music audio-cassettes and CDs
- ritual objects (kippot, tefillin, mezuzot, siddurim, kiddush accessories, shabbat candlesticks, havdalah and shabbat candles, hallah covers).
Also available is a large selection of souvenirs, crafts, works of art and jewellery.
